Extra round in May with the Scottish SuperMoto Championship
in Crail
Scottish SuperMoto Championship | Crail
9th–10th May saw the team head to Crail for a one-off appearance in the Scottish SuperMoto Championship. Although it was our “local” round, the journey still meant a three-hour trip north — proving motorsport weekends always start long before the racing begins.
Saturday was dedicated to practice and getting familiar with the circuit conditions, testing grip levels across both the tarmac and off-road sections.
The weekend also gave us another valuable opportunity to continue developing the Kove 450MX in mixed conditions, with the bike performing strongly throughout both layouts.
On Sunday, Blake entered two separate classes:
• Tarmac Only
• Elites — using both the tarmac and off-road sections
Despite being the youngest rider in both classes by quite some margin, Blake continued to build confidence throughout the day and delivered some fantastic results against a field made up largely of experienced adult riders.
Elites Class
• Race 1 – P2
• Race 2 – P2
• Race 3 – P1
Tarmac Only
• Race 1 – P1
• Race 2 – P1
• Race 3 – P1
The weekend finished with:
1st Overall – Tarmac Only
2nd Overall – Elites
Overall, it was a hugely rewarding weekend for both Blake and the team. The Kove continued to impress across different track conditions, while Blake showed strong pace, consistency, and confidence competing against much more experienced riders. Another positive step forward as the season continues.

BSSC Nora Sport Round 1 & 2 Results
Round 1 - Three sisters 4-5th April
The 2026 season got underway at Three Sisters and marked an exciting new chapter for the team, with Blake lining up on the brand-new Kove 450MX SuperMoto machine that we are continuing to develop throughout the season.
Every session this weekend was not only a test of Blake’s riding but also a valuable opportunity to learn more about the bike. With each outing, Blake looked more comfortable and confident on the Kove, and the progress across the weekend was clear for everyone around us to see.
The new machine also attracted plenty of attention in the paddock, with lots of intrigue from riders and teams throughout the weekend. The Kove has definitely surprised a lot of people already, and there was no shortage of conversations around the bike and its potential.
Race Results:
• Race 1 – P14 Overall / P3 Under 21s
• Race 2 – P12 Overall / P3 Under 21s
• Race 3 – P12 Overall / P2 Under 21s
Overall, it was a really positive opening round and a strong starting point for both Blake and the Kove development project. There’s still plenty more to come, but confidence is building every time the bike hits the track.
We now look ahead to the next round with valuable data, growing confidence, and a lot of excitement for what this season could bring.
Round 2 - Teesside 2-3rd May
Another really positive weekend for the team at Teesside Autodrome, with some of Blake’s strongest results so far this season aboard the developing Kove 450MX SuperMoto machine.
Friday’s practice day proved hugely valuable, giving us plenty of track time to get comfortable with the circuit, test different tyre options, and continue refining the bike setup ahead of the race weekend. The extra sessions also allowed us to gather important feedback for both Blake’s riding and the continued development of the Kove.
Across the weekend, Blake rode brilliantly and continued building confidence every time he went out on track. Teesside also brought another important milestone — riding the bike in wet conditions for the first time, giving the team even more valuable data moving forward.
Saturday – British Championship
• Race 1 – P6
• Race 2 – P7
• Race 3 – P6
• 2nd Overall – Under 21s
Sunday – National Championship
• Race 1 – P7
• Race 2 – P5
• Race 3 – P8
• 3rd Overall – Under 21s
Sunday’s second race was definitely one of the standout moments of the weekend. Blake was battling hard for a podium position and was right in the fight for 3rd place going into the final lap. Unfortunately, while trying to make a move in the last corner, the position slipped away.
Although frustrating at the time, it was also a huge positive — showing that the pace is there and that Blake is getting closer to the front with every round.
Overall, another strong step forward for both rider and machine, with confidence, pace, and development all continuing to move in the right direction heading into the next round.

Trackside - April 3rd 2026
As we move into the 2026 season, we’ve made the decision to place a strong focus on the British SuperMoto Championship this year.
Alongside this, we’re really excited to be working with Kove, supporting the development of their new SuperMoto 450MX. Having factory support and the opportunity to be involved in developing a bike is a huge step forward and something I’m looking forward to being part of throughout the season.
SuperMoto is a format I really enjoy. The tracks are dynamic, technical, and demand a lot from both rider and bike, which makes every session a chance to learn and improve.
There are also some exciting opportunities building later in the year, which we’ll be sharing more about soon.
For now, the focus is clear — keep progressing, keep developing, and make the most of every round

Four Weeks in Spain: Training Camp Begins
On the 15th February, we arrived in Spain after a three-day drive from Scotland, travelling through France and down to the south for a four-week training block.
The plan is simple: five days per week on the bike. We’ve brought three machines for testing — the NSF, a SuperMoto, and a Yamaha R6 — each one helping develop different areas of riding, from corner speed and braking to race pace and bike control.
The reason for travelling to Spain is opportunity. With consistent weather and multiple circuits open throughout the week, tarmac track time is far more accessible than it is in the UK during winter. Riders from across the world train here, including many top Spanish competitors, which raises the level and pushes every session harder.
The first week hasn’t been without challenges. All three bikes have already had mechanical issues — a side of racing most people don’t see. When you’re riding at high speed and pushing machinery to its limits, components wear fast. Development, maintenance, and constant adjustments are part of the process.
Thankfully, my dad carries the unofficial title of Head Mechanic, working behind the scenes to keep everything running and improving each day.
There’s still three weeks of training ahead. I’ll keep you posted on progress, highlights, and what we learn along the way.
